Economic development is too often thought of only as recruitment. Commerce Lexington’s economic development team is acutely aware that the best, most efficient economic development happens with those businesses that already call the Greater Lexington home. The same services that we provide to attract jobs are available to those that are already part of our community. Our local business services team consists of city and state economic development officials and will serve as your ombudsman. We strive to help businesses feel comfortable and promote their growth in Lexington.

The team meets weekly with various existing businesses. Topics of conversation often include the challenges of doing business in the state and region, what could improve their ability to do business, programs and services available to them and most anything in between.
